Well, guys, I've just about come to think that no one can really call himself an MGTOW until he has been through a board collapse and regroup or two. IIRC, this is #19 for me.
I'm sure y'all know the old cliche about the Chinese pictogram for crisis being a combination of the characters for danger and opportunity. The danger is, of course, losing momentum or losing contact with the group which had formed on the old DGM2.0 board.
So, what are the opportunities? Fresh start, fresh perspective, fresh meat in the driver's seat.
The old board had grown stale, as boards almost always do. Habits got formed of posting the same tired old things and making the same tired old comments about them. The "in" crowd had definitely sorted itself out, and some people fell into the trap of being kharma point wh0re$.
And, of course, there is the fact that the admin had just gotten tired to death of dealing with the administrative load.
So, we now have reinforcements arriving. A new crop of admins is ready to step out and do their thing - put their personal stamp on this board just as Lee put his personal stamp on DGM2.
I strongly encourage those responsible for this board to learn from Lee's experience and make sure you keep a steady stream of new talent being cultivated to take care of board responsibilities. MRA burnout is an insidious process and a man suffering from it often does not realize it until he is too far gone to do anything about it.
Congratulations, and my thanks, for stepping up to the plate and volunteering to carry the torch for the next stage of this grand journey we find ourselves on.
