Tiledan on the DGM Forum is my nephew. My ex Wife called yesterday whining about her Life. And how difficult it is. LOL sucks to be her. She is financially supporting our Oldest Daughter who has Epilepsy and who is Married herself. Her Husband is being pushed out of his marriage to my Daughter by my Ex Wife. Who wants other folks to pay for her decisions and interventions in others lives.
I cannot tell you how glad I am to be out of her clutches and out of her Life. She keeps trying to drag me into it. Another issue Gents is this. Women after Menopause physically break down. And have tons of Health issues. Constant trips to the Doctor. And turn into Bitchy, nasty, Alien creatures.
I am married now. But damn the baggage that goes with marriage. IS just exhausting. And the perks that used to exist with it. No longer do.

Khan,
More and more men are realizing this, so they're GTOW. Until marriage becomes an ATTRACTIVE possibility for men, this trend will only intensify. Hope you like having it all, bitches! Hope you like them bicycles, hehehe...

The simple prerequisites for a sane and reasonably happy life with another person is simple. Reasonable and realistic, pleasant and agreeable companionship and regular enthusiastic romp in the Sheets. Do not spend us into Bankruptcy. Cook an occasional home Cooked meal. And articulate appreciation and respect now and then.
Dr. Laura articulated this in her book "The Care And Feeding Of Husbands". Its not splitting Atoms, nor is it Cold Fusion.

Khan,
Though she didn't intend for this, Dr. Laura wrote a GREAT reminder why we men shouldn't marry. Just read all the examples of wives who treated their husbands badly for years. WTF would I want to sign up for that shit? Why?! I can't think of a good reason to...

Why are you still even talking to your ex-wife? That is what call blocking is for.

There were never perks for the husband in marriage, but at least women used to try their best to make it barable.

Yes there was Perks in Marriage in past decades. I know I saw it first hand. Home Cooked Meals, Verbal appreciation and Respect, regular Sex and admiration for your Masculinity. These were not accidents. Women used to work hard to please Men. They truly did. My Mother still does for my Father, some 54 years. He does not understand why his Grandsons the younger Ones don't want to Marry. He is stuck in the past.
But my Mom is now acknowledging that the Wheels are Off, and Modern younger Women are trash. She openly says I don't know what is wrong with Women anymore. She is confused how Women could become so "Evil and corrupt", her Words to me on Mother's Day.
When you have Children and Grandchildren you still will at times talk to your ex Wife. You are tied to one another when you have children. What is surprising is her complaints of Mr. Perfect. Which infuriates me. I tell her I don't want to hear it.

My analogy of the state of present day marriage for men is like an airline whose flights crash 50 plus percent of the time.
Also, their inflight service is lousy but is the most expensive in the world.
Just who besides a complete lunatic would book a flight on that death trap?

That's not bad Luek. I always compared it to something similar. Marriage is like a one-way plane ticket to a remote island, where all the men are desperately trying to get off.
