I didn't think many members of HQ would be receptive to Nacho's re-emergence into the MGTOW sphere. I read the thread he had going on over at GYOW and his arguement with GIT. GIT eventually gave him both barrels in the face over what the former forum members felt when Nacho dropped the bomb on the community.
GIT said it quite eloquently and that's the double barrelled blast in the face of Nacho, it was all about trust and community and Nacho blew all of that up in a fit of pique.
"You succeeded at making something that was greater than yourself, that changed lives. Hell, if you could only see what I've written about where I'd be if I hadn't found that site... Untreated for a service related injury because shit insurance, unpaid for medical leave because none of that if I didn't have this job which I wouldn't have if not for your board... And I am just ONE guy.
Imagine the scope of great things that have happened to a large group of men, who by and large were fans of you and what you'd done, up to that final point. So a few people use dumb phrases or don't all agree with everything you think... why destroy something huge for so little? I could see not wanting to be a part of it, totally understand being frustrated it wasn't going your way when you had all that responsibility for it, but to just take it down? Hell even that I could understand, but how about a, "Hey, this isn't going the way I wanted, and I'm shutting down. I know you won't like it, but it is mine, and mine with which to choose what I'll do." Not even apologetic, because multitude of contributor's content be damned, they posted it there knowing it was yours, and you wouldn't have owed them anything. In fact, they'd have still owed you. I would have too. But adios and fuck off?
I couldn't have given you money, but I would have at the time had I money to give. That's what we're bent out of shape about, not you banning me, or whatever individual slight others perceived. It was that you had this group of guys, who'd all been burned by trusting someone before, and you gave us a place to speak our minds and make friends. That made us think of you as a friend, like we owed you, and a damn bit. But then you too tried burning us when you could have handed it off; "Hey, this shit has gotten gay, I don't like it, if you can pay for it, it's yours."
Even after the fact, all many had to say was they hoped that whatever you were going through that prompted such ire for those who'd come to see you as a friend, you wound up out the other end okay.
I can't speak for everyone, but I think I can say the majority of us thought you were better than that. "

One thing about Nacho reopening his old forum, the old members should go and copy whatever stuff they wrote and didn't have a chance to rescue before his blowout tantrum.
As for the whole "I own this forum, therefore I have the final say in the community," that has always been bullshit from day one. We all saw this over at AVFM from day one with Paul Elam's first internet podcast and his treatment of people around him who dared to offer any suggestions or question him in any way.
This is the danger of forums being started and run by only one person, these people eventually get to the point of thinking their personal importance outweighs the importance of the community,
Sigh, it's unfortunate that some of Nacho's former fanbois over at GYOW sounded like cheerleaders welcoming back the conquering hero after 4 years in the wilderness.
Recluse's capture of the final message should be posted over there to break the illusion of who Nacho really is, not the image of the formerly successful forum admin he loves to present himself as.
Reading some of the responses from Nacho to GIT only tells me that time has not mellowed him in the least, once an asshole always an asshole.
